| Llamas are generally more interesting to keep than sheep are. Here are
Buddy and Dennis (after Dennis Healy - because of the eyebrows) from Brit Valley Llamas in Dorset. Llamas also tend
to be rather brighter than the average sheep. |

Howard the sheep has learned how to get into the Manson household. This
wasn't so bad when he was a lambkin but now he weighs in at 40Kg and the couch is starting
to disintegrate. |

You can tell by the hairstyle that this photograph was taken in the
eighties. Since then there have been great advances in hand-clipping tools and sheep
coiffure is much more straight forward. |

The Oaf (top right) was a peculiarly savage sheep who was prone
to attacking anyone who came too close. Sometimes there was a genuine accident (hence the
nickname) but sometimes she would deliberately corner her pray and knock it out. All
Shetland sheep have something of a mean streak, and thelocal hospital has the highest
number of sheep related emergency admissions anywhere in the world.
